you might feel bad.
For example, you might feel:
- Afraid
- Sad
- Angry
- Nervous
Or:
- Worried
- Worthless
- Annoyed
- Unfairly treated
- Powerless
If you have experienced
sexual violence,
it may cause you to think
poorly of yourself.
You may feel guilty and ashamed
about what has happened.
It may feel like
it is your fault
or that you have to blame yourself.
But it is never your fault.
The person who treated you badly
is the one who did something wrong!
