Every morning I take the transportation service
to my daily activities.
I like to sit in the front seat
because that’s where I can see the road best.
One day there was a new driver.
I had ridden with him
once before.
He was funny
and joked with me.
When we arrived
he put his hand on my thigh.
It felt really weird.
“Stop!” I said.
But he did not move his hand.
I froze.
He began to touch me
between my legs
and tried to kiss me.
Then I got really mad
and I hit him
as hard as I could.
I got the car door open and
ran out into the parking lot.
You have the right to feel
safe with staff members.
With the transportation service.
At your daily activities.
Or where you live.
If a staff member touches you
in a sexual way
or makes you feel bad,
you do not have to see
that person again.
You can defend yourself
if you experience sexual violence!
Tell someone you trust.
Maybe a friend, staff member
or someone in your family.
